Statement of Faith

Our statement of faith serves as the stones of our foundation as a school that keeps us focused on what is primary and eternal.  These are essential truths of the Christian faith that will be taught unapologetically in various ways throughout all grade levels. We desire to remain unified in the salvation and love of Christ and in avoiding the dissension which may be caused by denominational distinctives.

Though families who send their children to CCA need not hold to these truths, CCA staff, boards, and curriculum stand on these as the tenets of our faith.

We believe:

  • The Scripture

The holy Scripture is the sole basis of our faith. The 66 books of the Old and New Testament are the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

  • God

There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is  the Maker of the heavens and the earth-all things seen and unseen.

  • The Father

God the Father is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, full of steadfast love, forgiving sin, and wholly just.

  • Jesus Christ

God the Lord Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone of our faith. He is fully God and fully man, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. His death alone is the atonement for our sins. He was resurrected and ascended back into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will return to earth in His glorified bodily form to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

  • Holy Spirit

God the Holy Spirit is the giver of new life and descends from the Father and the Son. His present ministry is through the indwelling of the Christian to enable a godly life.

  • Salvation

Salvation is necessary because of the sinfulness of humanity. It is by faith alone in Christ alone through grace alone for the glory of God alone. Salvation is not by works but only by the blood of Jesus Christ that justifies us before God. Our salvation begins and is kept by God until the return of Christ.

  • Resurrection

The resurrection is of both the saved and the lost. The saved are resurrected to eternal life, and the lost are resurrected to eternal punishment and separation from God in hell.

  • Marriage

Marriage is the God ordained uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. Sexual intimacy is a gift designed for the marriage relationship only.

  • Human Life

Human life is sacred and created by God. Human life is sacred because we are created to be His image bearers. All human life: the preborn, babies, orphans, poor, elderly, physically or intellectually disabled, or any age or condition are worthy of defending, protecting, caring for, and valuing.

  • Gender

God created all humans in His image, male(man) and female(woman). Though sexually and biologically different, both have equal value in the eyes of God, their Creator.

  • To Him be all honor, and glory, and praise forever!

"Come as living stones being built into a spiritual house to be set apart for God to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Him through Jesus Christ, the corner stone."
