Involvement

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and love one another as I (Christ) have
loved you.

Luke 10:27 and John 13:54

Family Requirements

Cornerstone can deliver a phenomenal education only if families are actively involved in their student's education. We believe that God has given families the primary task of educating their children. Parents or caregivers will be required to sign a contract that ensures family participation during the year.

The Head of School will meet with all new families to ensure they understand their responsibilities in the collaborative educational partnership.

Family Involvement

To foster family involvement at Cornerstone, families are required to attend seven events. These events equip and empower families to build healthy partnerships with teachers and the school community.

Our family involvement includes:

  • Family covenant

  • Building partnerships with teachers

  • Family events

  • Start the year by meeting your child's teacher and getting important information for the school year. (Fall)

  • One Saturday, attend a family workshop and then go to class with your child. (Fall)

  • Teachers will visit their students in their home! This is a 20-minute non-academic visit to deepen teacher and family relationships. (Fall)

  • Meet with your child's teacher to discuss your student's academic progress and character development for the semester. (Fall and Spring)

  • Parents will volunteer to serve at a school event. (Throughout the Year Options)

  • Bring your 1040 tax form and meet with a member of Cornerstone to determine your fair-share tuition. This will be a mutually agreed upon amount for the coming school year's tuition. (Spring)
